\r\n Normally, each club has their own rules. However, using the IBO as a standard for rules, you would be in the MBO class. This puts you at a maximum distance of 50 yards.\r\n
\nYou will usually only see the larger animals at the longer distances. That said clubs can adopt any standard they want for distances and animals if they are not shooting a sanctioned event.
\nAlways ask them what rule they use and what the max distance will be for your class.\r\n

New 3D shooter with ?????
Hey everyone I am going to start 3D shooting this year and would like to know some rules and regulations at the shoots. I will probably be shooting a Switchback XT with Scope and wonder which group I will be in and what are good arrows for my setup which will probably be SB XT 29" DL 60-70# DW,toxonics sight, scope,WB rest. What are the usual distances I will be shooting and what type of animals at those distances? How many arrows at each target and how many targets? Thanks a bunch for all your help.
