    Finally after many years. 15 yrds and smoked him. 12" beard. Just glad to finally connect and put one on the wall with a bow.

    Its not turkey season is it where you are? I know here they will crucify you for shooting a turkey out of season.

    nice gobbler. i shot one in the spring with a shotty but not a bow yet. im gonna give it a try this fall with the bow.

    Way to go...did you kill him on your side of the fence or theirs just kidding.I killed my first with a bow 2/3 yrs ago...them suckers are hard to hit 18' up in a tree stand.Congrats.

    Nice Bird Got my first and only one about 12 yrs ago. Sad thing is I was hunting deer. They just kept hanging around and I just kept waiting for a deer to come out with them, Finally said to h*** with it and took the shot. Never thought I would hit it but darn if I never had wild bird at Thanksgiving.
