The buck ran about 50 yards in a half circle and died about twenty five yards in front of me. I shot high on the doe and hit her in the spine, she was 15 yards from the tree.

He was a six pointer and I didnt weigh him. I would guess about 130 field dresses maybe a little more. All I know is he is going to be some good table fare This was only my fourth time in a stand this year and the first time I hunted this particular stand. As I stepped into the woods a buck and a doe jumped up and ran off....They were bedded right under my stand But I sat it out and was rewarded with this double.
That course was so easy I even missed a target !!

    Thats pretty cool!
That 6pt (my bad) looked to be over 150 a giant for a 6pt.
My 8pt last week dressed out at 120 i figured about 135 live wt.
I heard from my outfitter that the does up there avg 150
Man thats gonna be some big targets to shoot!
Cant wait 2 weeks and ill be in your neck of the woods, only problem i dont know your neck of the woods,i hope i can figure it out fast!
