    Default Finally joined the group.

Well after a month of lurking around the forum here, absorbing lots of great information, my wife and I finally took the big jump and purchased our first bows. It has only been a week, but we are having a great time shooting. Hopefully within the next year we will get proficient enough to attempt our first turkey hunt.

So I guess this is an official howdy to all and we hope to get more very helpful advice for our future archery hobby.

Also, if there are any St. Louis area archers out there, give a shout out. It would be cool to chat with you at one of the local ranges!

Opps, I guess it would have been helpful to share what bows we got.

    My bow:
    Diamond Liberty w/ kit @ 60# 29"

    My wife's bow:
    Parker Buck Hunter XP w/ kit @ 40# 26"

Both kits included sights, whisker biscuits, peeps, quivers, releases, string loops, and mine came with a stabilizer.

Anyway thanks for all the welcomes.
