    ............everytime I flip a deer over to gut 'em....

    beyond that wonderful smell....

    Nothing wrong with that....i remember the 1st deer i killed when i was a teen and one of the older guys in camp had blood on his fingers when showing me how to field dress one and put a blood mark on each cheek under my eye's....like the indians did and up till a couple years ago i always done that after killing a deer.

    I had me a set of inner loins for dinner last night....

    SSllllllooooowwwww cooked with onion just intil it stopped gruntin.....

    A little horse radish on the side with a cold beer.....

    MMMUuuuuunmmmmm..I wish there were left overs.

    Speaking of the smell of a dead deer. There have been at least 4 or 5 times where my friends and I were tracking a deer and I swear to god I could smell it before we found it. I even told them I smell a dead deer and they thought I was joking.

    There is a definate smell to em.... Sorta like a musty smell... nottin better
