Question Arrow weight?

Hey! Just was curious as to what a XX78 super slam 2613 might weigh? I shoot 26" with 100gr point and I don't have a scale yet and I have never seen anything stating weight in "grains per inch" or something similar so I can figure the weight myself. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,John

Hey John,

You probably looked at Eastons website by now, but I should be able to get you close. According to my program, not knowing if your using vanes or feathers, your XX78 2613 at 26" with 100 grain tip should be around 500 grains with an 11.26% FOC. I haven't had a chance to fully update the program this year, but it should be close with a fully assembled arrow. I assumed you were using it for hunting? If you get a chance to weight it, let me know if it was close.

Thanks for the help! I will let you know what I find out but I'm sure you are pretty close because I am shooting a 370gr arrow around 298fps and the 2613 is shooting 264 so I figured they had to weigh significantly more. Thanks again,John

I ran the set-up using Easton 380 vanes, 100 grain field points, insert and super nocks.

I am showing 516.3 gr with a 8.9% FOC

If you are using a 100 gr glue in point

You are looking at 458.3 gr with a FOC of 4.3%

The shaft weighs 11.49 gr./in

Thanks so much for all your help! I had hunted with the 2613's before and really like the way they shoot so I decided to use them for 3-D as well because speed is not much of an issue with the Allegiance and they seem to do pretty well. Thanks again for the help . John
