Totally different bows. But is the difference worth the extra $$ to you, it was to me.

shot the Mathews and you'll not be having that BT complex long! HA HA HA

The silky smoothness of the Mathews will win you over!

Then I can say to the family!

Gonna have to disagree with the Mathews fanboys...I have shot em all and wouldn't trade my bowtech for one. The drenalin is a good bow, but I like my Allegiance much better. Now if you are deciding between an Airborne and a Mathews, I would buy an Elite I just really hate the Airbornes draw cycle a lot!

if you talk about tomcat and switchback, fure sure switchback is loootttt better. give it a try so you'll know what is the feeling. i'm not a fanboy, and I did own bow from martin, HCA... I sold them and swithcback xt is stick with me more than 1 year now

... and my next stop is vextrix

OOH, have you shot an elite? They look pretty fancy and make some bows with good looking specs. I personally don't like mathews bows, they are nice and all, but I feel so much like I'm spending 300$ more for the name when an alpine is pretty near equivalent. Bowtech also seems to be leading the way in inovation, mathews is sitting on its good names and history of perfect accuracy.

Tomkat is the lower end bow for BT...kinda apples to oranges...depends on how much you want to spend. Your question should be more like the "ally" or "switch"...and "mission" or "tomkat"...
