Question Deer Ribs

Anyone got any good rubs or recepies on deer ribs. I had some last year think I jacked them up and tasted bad plus fat stuck to roof of my mouth was horrible. So any tips or hints would be more then helpful.

The fat on venison always does that and I can't eat it.

We try to trim all white away from the meat when we process.

I've read that some folks eat deer ribs but I can't do the fat on them so they get tossed. I'd be interested to hear how people do it.

Maybe barbecue them so the fat burns off?

Forget the ribs, just keyhole all the meat from between the ribs and put in your jerky pile.
