Default Broadheads?

I am trying to figure out witch one to use this year. I have been shooting Mechanical broadheads for about 5 years, but want to go back to fixed blades. I was thinking about either, trophy ridge rocket ultimate steel or slick trick magnum 100, has anyone ever shot or heard anything good about the ultimate steel broadheads?

Never shot them but I shoot Muzzy. I went away from mechanical broad heads too.

Try the Shuttle T locks. They fly great and are very tough heads. Just one mans opinion though.

Don't use there broadheads, only their rests and sights. Dont have to shoot their BH. Guess you haven't seen the contract

The ultimate steel flies great and leaves good blood trails...only drawback was that the blades sometimes come out after they are pulled out of the ground on a passthrough...the blades don't seem to lock in the ferrule all that well....but that was like 4-5 yrs. ago....maybe they improved them since then.

I used to shoot Thunderheads before I went to mechanicals. Tough, dependable and not overpriced. They tuned ok for me with some learning and patience.

I use Thunderheads 100 Gr for years. Tried some different one in between, but always went back to Thunderheads. About 3 years ago tried 100 gr. G5 Montes and love them great head. They set up easy, shoot just like my field points, very good blood trials and blow through every thing I shoot. If your a Thunderhead or Muzzy shooter your going to love G5 Montec it's a better head.
