Classified Ad Fee ?

I was wondering is there a fee to post something in the classified advertisements area on here? I had a post pulled in AT that says I must pay money for posting something to sale. Their (Archers helping Archers), saying should be you first must pay a membership fee first to do so. Well it is what it is and I do have a choice to use or not to use there site. Just thought it was Archers helping Archers and not a business over there. Anyhow I hope everyone is having a great day and shooting when they can!!

There's no fee but there are rules for posting ads in the classifieds.

There's no fee on AT either....you might of tried posting it in the wrong section. I believe they have a pay to play section now for dealers and such.

I think that's because you posted in the wrong area. There is a regular classified section and one for dealers/sponsors or something.

Yes for 250 a year, 130 6 months, 75 3 months you can post stuff in there classifieds section and sell items. That is what I was told by three Administrators I could post there Pm's but I really don't want to get people going cause I'm not wanting to hurt anyone feelings. I was just trying to start a tread on AT and was told no unless I became a sponsor. So I can't afford that and I asked the question here on 3dshoots.com and Chris very nicely answered it. That's all there is to it.

Hawkins are you making products to sell or are you reselling used gear? I recently had a loooonnngggg thread deleted over there that had been around for about 3 years and recently brought back to the top. I was told because of a new policy any "manufacturer" selling items needs to be a sponser to advertise. They have prices ranging from $15 -250/yr, but I don't know the difference in advertising privileges. Nov Rut wanted me to call him on the phone to find out more, but I haven't done that yet. I am just a housewife that hauls my sewing machine on and off my kitchen table to "manufacture" quivers.... I am finding that because ONE person saw my thread before it was deleted and asked for me in the general area, I am sorta getting my advertising for free

Become a Supporting Manufacturer/Retailer for 1 Year with a payment of $250 ($130 for 6 months or $75 for 3 months)

This will allow you to post ads in the ArcheryTalk Outlet Mall/Store and the Archerytalk Classifieds. Your user title will change to Supporting Manufacturer/Retailer and you will have Purple Stars by your username.

This is what I understand is to be done to sell items that you make? If Nov Rut said to call him than I say you should before you try and post selling made items? I know you where making the quivers right up till your baby was born (by the way Congrats) and took a break? But I don't want to tell one thing and get it wrong. I was told I had to join the sponsor Become a Supporting Manufacturer/Retailer to sell items on there classified.
