Default AT strikes again!

Well, now the tyrants at AT have banned threads that are against crossbows. You are only allowed to post threads that PROMOTEcrossbows or crossbow hunting. If you post a thread AGAINST CROSSBOWS, you will be BANNED!!
According to the Tyrannosaurus Tyrants this is not censorship because they don't allow pornography either! LOL!
Why don't they be honest: its about MONEY!!

Default Threads

Crossbows have there own forums.

Why even mention them in bohunting forums any more?

Dont go into crossbow forums. Seems pretty simple to me.

Most archers realize there just for those who cant shoot a bow.

i has a friend who has shoulder problem and couldnt pull the bow and he bought a crossbow and result in couldnt pulled the crossbow with his lower back and shoulder so he sell and buy a crossbow that has a reel in to pull the string..

well i beleive in crossbow would be better for people who cant do pull the bow or whatever, i dont need a crossbow unless somethings happen to me then will be crossbow

175 or 200 lb draw crossbow vs 70 lb draw compound bow

I'm on the fence on this one. My father was born missing two vertebre in his back, doctor's said he should have been in a wheelchair 12 years ago...

If a crossbow gets him into the woods more often (or anybody for that matter), I'm all for it.

10-15 years ago, people would get dirty looks for shooting a wheelie instead of a stickbow. The times, they are a changing!

Crossbow..... has the word bow in it. AT, as was stated, has a crossbow section. Anything, and especially anything strongly worded in the negative on anything anti-bow is going to get looked at as anti hunting. Hunting is what keeps bow manufacturers in buisness. Advertising dollars from those manufacturers are what keep these website doors open.

Amen Dan. I could have probably got a permit to use one last fall. Sure changed my view of crossbows. It's not like they're a 243 with a scope. Effective range is about the same as a regular compound.

do u think if crossbow would be good with people who have a really long draw over 33" or more ? like above 6'7" or taller ?
a friend of mine who is 6'9" he has struggle find a long draw bow and he want shot a crossbow coz he isnt DA or handicap ? but in my mind he doesnt need crossbow..

he doesnt want buy a expensive bow but no choice for him.. well thanks god i'm not that long draw.. 30 ' prefect fit me w/o stright smack my arm..
