I was probably 17 at the time; 3 of us were rabbit hunting. The was snow on the ground - back to that. Anyways I shot at one and it dropped, we went up to where I shot it no blood - darn guess I missed; so we found the tracks and they stopped right where I shot - no hole for it to go into; walked all over that area, no more tracks just stopped, no blood, no nothing - it just vanished. If it was under some grass we would have stepped on it. I have no idea what happened; both of them saw the rabbit so no denying it was real; they called it my ghost bunny.

Well the kid wanted to go hunting in a new spot so we loaded up the double bull and set it up on an eadge along a corn field and some crp not a tree within a mile of us. the next thing i knew the kid was freaking out trying to get out of the blind 2 squirels playing ran under the blind up her leg i still dont know who was more scared her or the squirel ......  ......  ....

I'm surprised you did'nt bag a red deer. I would have come home saying I did'nt see anything? You have to do you part for future generations.
