New bow recomendations!!
Hi,
I have been bowhunting for three years now, and when I started I bought a Lights out by Bear. I am to the point where I would like to upgrade, I have had friends that shoot mathews, hoyt and bowtech and each one of them says theirs is the best. I plan on using my new bow for more than just deer in the future. I was just wondering what I should go with for my next purchase? Thanks |

There are alot of bow manufacturers out that make great bows. The only person that can answer your question is you. Just have to shoot them and figure out which one fits your budget and shooting style .

Funny, I have been hearing great things about the new Bears. Seriously. You'll hear or read it, but it is 90% indian, 10% bow. That's the truth. I've had compounds from Martin, Bear, Hoyt, Mathews, PSE, Parker, and Maitland.
You can chase your tail with the latest and greatest new bow on the market, but the biggest influence on all of them is you. My old stand-by was last made in 2003. Shoots better than me and is still my go to bow for 3d and hunting. Don't get sucked into this have to have a new bow every year because they are somehow better, it's not often true. That said, I understand the wander-lust. Go shoot some first.

There are way to many bow with to many specs. to just point to one and say "This is it!"
Do you have a idea what kind of specs you like on a bow? Long ATA? Short? parallel limbs? What about brace? Two cam/ one cam?

I don't know which is the best... but if you look at what the professionals at the olympics use it is Hoyt by far...
