Default Changing from 3D to hunting

I use a handheld for target shooting and a trigger for hunting. Both with the same bow, unfortunately the two different releases give me different anchor points so once I move over to hunting gear my 3d target season is over.

Thinking about using a handheld for hunting, anybody here use a handheld for hunting?

I started hunting with my CARTER JUST CUZ 2 years ago ,and won't
go back to a trigger (ever) ! It is so nice to just reach up and grap
my bow with the release attached to the D loop .

Been using a Cascade model * for about the last 20 years. It's nice to hunt with what I've been using year round. No fuss, no muss. Just shoot.

In warm weather no problem, but when it get down to butter cold in the late season that handheld gets tuff to hold.

Questioning why you have to hold it for anything other than the shot? Otherwise your hands can be in your inside pockets
Use one you can clip on and hang from the D-loop until your ready.
