Flagged spam words

Sometimes a thread or reply will not be posted right away because certain keywords set-off flags in our spam filter or there are too many links to other sites in your message. This may result in an error when posting new threads. Unfortunately this is a necessary step due to the heavy volume of spam we receive.

We will not list these words (because that would allow spammers to simply bypass it), but please reply here if you're having issues with this feature. Please note -- if a message is flagged as spam, a moderator must approve it before it's visible online. This generally takes under an hour, so please don't post your thread 10 more times or something. Just PM a moderator.

This also may have happened if you posted too many URLs in a thread. Again, a moderator should approve your thread soon. Thanks for your patience.

When you are a new member and you have zero posts, your threads will get flagged as spam until you get multiple posts on the forum. This only happens if you have links or pictures in your first posts. This limits the amount of spam we get on the forum. It's a pain in the rear but necessary. Don't worry, we will read and approve your posts so others can see them as fast as possible.

I posted an ad for Double Bull blinds a little while ago and it got hit for spam.
If my message was posted more than once I am sorry.

I'm not spamming, I have sold a lot of blinds on a bunch of other sites. Just wanted to give a heads up.

1st post and already I'm being labled a spammer ??? Guess its because I had 1 too many picturetrail links the first time I posted it. Anyhow, I hit submit like 3 more times before I got a clue and followed the directions to read here. Maybe you can watch out for duplicate posts and remove all but one. Thanks and my apologies.

LOL. I did post it in GD. There was a link to websight (so people would know what I was talking about), and a picture that I took to help explain my problem / question, that is what got my post flagged I think..

Yep, new posters with links get flagged automatically. This greatly reduces the spam and sometimes good members end up as collateral damage. Just repost and I'll approve it. Sorry for the trouble. Once you get a few posts under your belt, this doesn't happen anymore.

is there a moderator who would take care of the viagara spam on the teens forum? Ive let my 13yo join there so forgive me for being hypersensitive, lol.

I did flag it but I think no one saw that. So this is just an additional heads up to the Admin. Thanks ever so much

If you are having trouble, just PM me. I don't see the thread you are referring to so if it is still there, send me a link and I'll kill it.

Our software does a pretty good job of killing this stuff but it doesn't catch everything. They are persistent little spammers.
