Got the new recurve in on Fri. Shot quite a bit on Fri and Sat. Now I remember why I bought a compound and started using sights. I can keep four out of five arrows in the deer at 20 yds, and two out of the four in the 10 ring. Sure got a long way to go. Killed my first deer with a bow using an old wing recurve. I'd like to take another before my huntin days are over. Like I said, Got a long way to go

I know what you mean I was flingin some arrows out of the old Shakespeare before season and loved the simplicity of it. But wow does it ever take alot of practice to get consistent with it. I hope you all the best with your goal to take another one with the recurve.
