Recurve Help

Does anyone know where I can find some information about setting up a new recurve. My arrows seem to fishtail a lot unless I overdraw a little bit. The arrow leaves the bow faster and cleaner, but I have to struggle to hold the weight. Looking for an article that covers tuning and setup. I'm shooting a Hoyt Gamemaster with a flipper rest and plastic side pad. It has 50# limbs and the arrows I got with the bow are 2-3 inches too long. I'm starting to get where I can keep em in the same county, but I'd like to improve the arrow flight

Don't know nuthin about no durn wheels, but it does got some little beaver balls towards the ends of the string. Could this be what you're talkin bout???
