Arrow sellection
Hey everyone looking for the right arrow for my X force. I shoot 60 lbs and a 27 1/2" arrow and 100 grain fixed blade g5. I don't care about brand ,cost ,how fast or light I just want to great broadhead flight because I would rather hit something slow than miss fast. Thinking of trying radial X weave any thoughts.

Easton C2 Redlines in a 460 match-up about perfect for your set-up, as do Carbon Express Medallion in a 450, or a CX Select in a 200 class all plot to be perfect matches and weights range from 210-ish bare to 225-ish, and 340-360-ish finish, guessing a 100gr tip and blazers (5gr per). Which based on a set-up similar to my own, with a tubed peep and basic nock set with eliminator button, should put your speed around high 260's to low 270/fps.

I shoot Terminator Lt. Selects by Carbon express from am Ultra Mag Hoyt at 60 #. I use 6075 rated with 29" shafts. 4560's wouldn't tune well for me. 4560's might be ok at your length though. Some shops sell them one at a time so you can try one before you buy a dozen. Also, I shoot Atom razor wire broadheads. They guarantee exact same impact point as target tips, or your money back. No more broadhead tuning needed before whitetail season for me. Yah, Hooo!

Killed anything with them yet???? I hear they leave miserable blood trails which makes sense considering the would leave very small entry and exits!!! I think I'll stick to something a little more well tested, personally. That exit wound being quite small could cause me to lose a well hit animal, and I'm not willing to take that chance.

Killed the heck out of three last year. The only malfunction was a sprung wire on the first deer. The exit wound was smaller than the others, but I found the deer 100 yards away, door nail dead. Only one lung was puntured, but the arrow passed through and left a decent blood trail. The other two ran 20 and 30 yards each, with wide and heavy blood trails. I watched them die from my tree stand. So far, every deer I've hit with an arrow had an exit wound and left a blood trail a responsible hunter can follow, be it Thunderhead or Atom. I contacted Arrowdynamic Solutions about the sprung razor wire. They admited a few others had the same issue and claimed their new model this year addressed the problem. I'm hoping to recieve the new model soon.
