Seems like a good day for some backstraps and some deer sausage....

Sounds like a good time for sure. Question is......why do you still have backstraps in the freezer?  Those are the first things gone for me.
We have a wind advisory today so I probably won't be grilling today, I'm jealous.

Yeah, I know. My wife is only now developing a taste for venison so i just about have to eat it all myself....I'm kinda ashamed this hasn't already been taken care of

No grillin in Louisiana today. charcoal is wet and wind blew out gas grill. LOL. Good thing the girldriend cooked yesterday, no power today.

Bump....
Today felt like a good day too...
Got venison ribs in the oven in the special sauce while the coals are gettin hot then gonna throw them babies on the grill. What for sides??
