Default fiels point vs hammerheads

here is a shot of my field points 100 gr
and my hammer heads 100 gr
shot at 20 yds from the same bow focusing on form
could anyone say why these are so far apart
the top 2 are points the bottom one is the head

When I've had broadhead flight problems, the impact point was off to the left or right. My problem was that the bow wasn't tuned properly. I'm not sure why you'd be hitting low. Was this one group, or did you get this result several times in a row? When I shoot low, it usually means I've got poor follow through.

Few different ways to go about it. If the broadheads are low, raise the rest, or lower the nockpoint, or give your cable a half twist at a time, bringing the nockpoint down. I assume FPs and BHs are the same weight.

All I can suggest is to weigh the Hammerhead. Maybe try a different one out of the same box, or try a different shaft. Try a different type of broadhead if you have one. Sorry I can't be more help. You may get more input on the general archery forum.

if you are absolutely sure that your bow is in tune you could try indexing the nocks to a different location due to the seam on some carbon arrows make the shoot differently when you turn them a different way.other than that i agree raise your rest until the field points hit with the broadheads.

Ha Rick
I shoot the same head
I dont know why but the 100gr rocket allways shoots about 2inchs lower than a 100gr target point
i re-set my sight just for the head.after that they group tight.
PM me if ya have another question ill get the e-mail
