Looks like a thunder head 100. If it had been a 125 it would a been all over. That had to hurt. Any body know the story of how this guy got shot in the first place?

I saw this one a while back. Let me think...I actually think they were small game hunting. But I don't know because the story you'll get form the guy that just shot his freind isn't always truthfull. They were probablly just around and almost poked someones eye out.

That pic was floating arround on another site a couple years ago and also had the story to go with it.It appeared that 2 brothers were hunting in a ground blind and one of them shot at a deer through the window and and the other brother raised up to soon and his brother shot him Is also read that the only reason it didn't kill him was because it was so close that the arrow did'nt have enough time to gain up speed from being so close. The full story is somewhere on google....but i for got how to bring it up....One things for sure though....only the 2 brothers know what really happened that day and i bet the story that they gave wasn't how it really happened.

Long story, typical momentary lapse of paying attention. Self inflicted stupidity.
The story is burried over on AT in the Bowhunter Showcase.

Last year in Colorado
One of the hunters in camp was the surgeon that operated on this guy. Said he walked in the hospital on his own. Way he said they were walking with a bow pulled back stalking when one bumped the other and the shot was close blank range. That why he didnt get any penatration.
Good reminder how dangerous bows can be.

One more thing
These pictures were suppose to be for Hospital use only. They were never suppose to be used otherwise and they never found out who let them out.
The guy wasnt happy when they were released. I can imigine not.

Is it just me, or does the broadhead (on the cut off shaft) still in the dudes head look like a 4 blade and the one shown stuck in the bone a 3 blade?

granted that one shot looks kinda funny, but could be the guys hair or flash looking like another blade.

Your probably right, but those blades look 90 degrees to me, not 120 degrees. The angle of the camera lets the viewer (me) assume there might be another blade hidden by the shaft. I'm most likely being a party pooper though

OK, re-studied the pics. Check out the relation of the blades to the dudes left ear and that thing that looks like a mole on his neck.
Also too, check out the angle of the cut on the shaft in both pic's. Looks like it is at different angles (probably just the way the camera makes it look).

I was looking at the apperatus attached to his head and the other stuff around the room, thinking maybe he'd be captured by the Borg.

Maybe another website got ahold of him and they're drilling sponsor propaganda into his head....
