anyone in Texas
Well as of right now they have closed the Sam houston national forest and the Davy Crockett too. This has been where i have been hunting for the past 4 yrs. Kind of ruins my bowhunting as they have said they hope to reopen before gun season closes. If anyone knows of any place i can go hunt and kill a doe or two please let me know. Thanks

I have been hunting near Kosse, Texas on the TPWD public hunting land off Hwy 7. It is good thick hunting land which produces numerous deer each year. During bow season, you can shoot a buck or doe. During general season, it is buck only. Let me know if you have any questions. Cost is just the cost of the public hunting permit from TPWD
