Someone in my stand....got pics
Look at this guy looking all nonchalant, thinks he owns the place......camo blends in pretty good.
It was a nice surprise.

I had one land on a limb so close I could have touch him with an arrow a few years ago. Kind of spooky at the time. They seem much larger when they are that close.

Had one take the hat off my head one night while I was varmit hunting.. never saw or heard him until he hit my head... knocked me plumb off the roof rack on the pickup...

That's pretty awsome right there! They are some cool azz birds. I had one of those screechy varieties light off early one morning in the tree just behind me. I almost jumped right out of my stand. Your never ready for that in the pitch black of early morning.

That is alot better than who I found in mine, a 2 foot snake 16 feet in ladder stand ,not what you want to see looking at you when your head pops up over platform.I nearly lost control of some bodily functions,just lucky I didnt fall. I took a stick and pushed him off but my day was ruined.
