I hope Dan is
doing better than I am on his trip to Ohio...The heat is up in the 70's and the Deer are not doing much here at all...It has slowed way down and it dont look good for the next few days...
I found a few scrapes that are pretty dead... Come on Cold Front from Canada ,, from anywhere for that matter...Rain, something...

Yea i seen it I am in the Ohio River valley....We always say,if you dont like the weather,just stick around for a few days...I hope it is true in this heat wave...I hope tomorrow morning is better,i was hoping to bag one on my Birthday today but it did not happen...

No movement at all tonight. I was in a pretty good spot, and there wasn't even a squirrel moving around.
 We need some cold weather, I don't like hunting in a t-shirt.

Weather did suck
But I could have shot a few eight pointers. Made a ground blind looking over a scrape. Had three different eight pointers and one doe within 20yrds. Could have shot ever one of them. That was excited.
Saw some chasing but its just not happening quite yet. Not one guy in camp fired a shot. Guys said its the hottest they ever remember for this week. Had a blast and saw tons of turkeys and deer for such hot conditions. DB Beautifull country for sure. DB

Yeah, man, I have not even been out. It's been in the mid 70's here the past few days. It's supposed to be 75 today.
We're supposed to have snow in the forecast for Friday... Good luck to you guys.... Ron

Whoaaaaaaaaaa watch out,I seen a Doe about 50 yards out and she dropped in her bed after watching her for 5 minutes...No Buck in sight,just a 2 year old Doe...
