Congradulations to CullenG on a nice harvest
OKlahoma eight pointer with his bow.
This is his dad holding the buck.
Acorn shown is what the buck was eating. Anyone know what type of acorn this is?
Way to go Cullen

Thanks
I was pretty happy with him. He came in looking for a fight. There was a six point that had two does with him. This eight was wanting to take the six pointers girls from him. The only problem was he walked within 15 yards of me. The slick tricks and Bowtech General did the job. I wasn't sure what kind of acorns these are, but I have watched another eight point eat them twice this year. The six point and does were also eating these. The deer have a hard time getting them hulled but when they do they act like they are candy. These particular acorns sound like baseballs hitting the ground.

Congrats on the great deer. We've always called those burr oaks. Huge acorns and the deer love them. We've had more than one stand in a burr oak.
