I have talked to several and all there seeing is small bucks. Rut going to be late.

i have seen a big buck chasing does hard the last 2 days in a row down in the coalgate area. but up here in hughes county i havent seen any chasing but i heard that some small ones are chasing a lil bit, just a lil early yet.

well guys 1 seen 2 more big boys chasin this mornin in the rain its on in hughes county big boys are shoing up in places that they shouldnt be

hallet area
i hunted the hallet area saturday sunday and today and i didnt see jack squat. i seen i small buck with 3 does friday evening on the drive to my father in laws house but that was it. this is frustrating. i plan to hunt every friday saturday sunday and monday till the end of archery. plus i got 2 weeks free time at the end of december i plan on being out every day of it. also found a secluded spot last year with tons of rubs. and a bedding area close to a creek that i think im going to hit thursday morning. hopefully that buck is still there
