Angry Wet True Talker= junk.

My True Talker got soaked the other night in the rain and now it don't sound worth a sh!t. I tried to take it apart to tune it, but it don't come apart. I'm going to be buying a new call today, and I'm thinking about the Buck Growl or Buck Roar. I had the Growl last year, and it sounded good, but I've never used the Roar. Oppinions and suggestions please.

I think the Roar is a better call than the Growl. I use the Roar and love it.

Default Roar

The Primos Buck Roar is the best call on the market...I had a TrueTalker and mine was a piece of crap too...It worked when it wanted to.

I had a Roar but it would freeze up very easily. The tone is great but in my neck of the woods it was worthless. I then bought a rubberneck because you can inhale with it, but I found that any moisture in it even on 55 degree days it would get sticky and quit working. If you are hunting a warmer climate during the rut I would go with the Roar.

Yeah, both sound great but I guess there just isn't the "perfect" call.

I got a roar and absolutly love it. I only use it during the rut when i can agreessive call and the buck come right to it. It does freeze up when on doe bleat or grunt. never had it freeze on TB or MB tho.

Thumbs up Roar

I have both calls but since buying the roar, it is the only grunt call I use. I believe that it sounds much better than the growl and when used with the can is extremely effective.

I bought the Roar tonight. Hopefully it will attract a big buck tomorrow.
