Few 3d pictures from the Sooner State Games today
Had some success and won the Senior Class with a very good score. Elite Gt500 is one really great shooting bow.

Our first shoot was yesterday, but it was about 90-100 miles away so I didn't get to go. Feb. 1st is the first close shoot, and these pics got me fired up for it. Can't wait. I don't care if it's 20 degrees and rainy, I'll be there (I might be the only one, but.....).

Great pics DB, I have a few pics to add to the thread, I'll try to get them resized so they'll fit. That Caribou and I have a grudge match coming REAL soon. I'm shooting Trospers 3-d league and that stupid thing got me two weeks in a row, but I predict I will get my revenge when I get back from Florida!

That low arrow of mine was a border line eight. I almost shot a perfect score except for two eights. Im quessing the larger body made him look closer thn he was.

LOL! Dude that was gonna happen anyway!!!
As for the Caribou, I had the yardage from what everyone else shot, but I lead off, so I am thinking that I did not hold high enough. He was kind of a wall of gray when I drew back, no good markings for me to hold on. I've got a plan for next time though! That caribou is going down!

Lots of Okies headed that way. Went to the Trade Show earlier this month and just dont have the Vac. time to do it all. Good Luck. What class you shooting this year? Ill be in Hattiesburg, Ms. Jan to early to be shooting 3d.
I was fortunate to win my way out of Open A last year so I'll be shooting Semi-Pro this year. Looking forward to it but a little nervous about it too.
See you in MS.

Look out for a comeback shooter named Jame Jamison. Luke Pettigrew and Lyle plum are shooting this class. Of course Chad Hilburn who has won a semi pro am before is back shooting that class. All good guys that can shoot.
Semi often one of the toughest classes just before the big guns. Of course once you win out of that class the fun stops and the work begins.
Good Luck and have a blast.

C'mon Dan. Those pics make me look fat. No, seriously thanks for posting them. We had a good time shooting with you. You should have let me take some pics of you, I mean you were the only real "shooter" there.
The XXL is almost ready to rock. I will be shooting the qualifier at 12 ring on the 8th. You should make the trip. I need some lessons. What is the charge per hour?

Hey Buddy if I make the trip it will be on Sunday. We have a club indoor shoot on Sat. It was a blast shooting with you and your friends. I always looked forward to meeting new archers with the passion. XXL a great shooter and should make one fine shooting machine. Now your diffiantly not even close to fat. Once again your buddys were just fun and made shooting that day a fun time which is what archery should be. Were diffiantly doing it again.
