FOBS in 3D
What is everyones opinion of using FOBS on a 3D course? If you put an arrow in the 12 or 14 with a FOB on it, then everyone else is taking a big chance of getting kicked out by shooting at that particular 12 or 14.

I should have worded the question better. Do you think that FOBS should be allowed in 3D tourements?

I say "If you got em then shoot em". I see no problem with someone using them. But some have to have something to complain about.

Shoot 'em if you want to, you paid for them and it's your right to have them busted up as you see fit. I personally don't care if you shoot them. If your fob caused me to get a lower score on one target, I have a feeling that you won't be using them too long, because they will be busted up.

You may just find that FOBs are a lot more flexible than you think. They will not deflect an arrow like a pin nock will. I have had three arrows inside of one FOB on a forth arrow and not broke the FOB on that had the other inside of it. Putting an arrow inside another arrows FOB is called a ringer in fob language.

If you got'em shoot'em................If I bust one don't get upset you gave me a dang good mark. Some people also hate pin nocks.........I've heard a ton of guys that say they should be outlawed........As well as black vanes, black nocks................................ That's a different conversation

can't say. I've never shot them, but would like to try them for myself sometime and see. I have never even seen one in person.

I wouldn't have a problem with them in open class...but since there are vane restrictions on Hunter and Adv hunter classes there should also be on FOBs then.
