still trying to make bow decision help me out!
well I have found an online sight that does package deals and have heard pretty good stuff about them.
with most of the kits you can get the following options.
WB rest,QAD drop away rest, or a hostage rest.
various fiberoptic sights
peeps
quiver
6 carbon arrows
3 cobalt broadheads
practice tips
patiot trufire release
hardcase
the bows from here I am considering are $700 or lower for the kits.
Diamond Stud 09
Bowtech Sniper
Bowtech nitrous (if available in left handed)
PSE Rogue X
Browning Verado
Diamond Rock
Martin Cheetah supermag
Fred Bear lights out.
locally I have found a Mathews Drenalin with mathews drop away rest. mathews quiver, a nice aluminum F/O sight with a light, 5 carbon arrows with broadheads. set up to my drawlength and its lefthanded to boot.... they're asking $699. it was used a few times but is in excellant condition. (guy bought it then traded it for a cross bow)
thanks for any advice and help/opinions

My votes go to:
Bow: Martin Cheetah supermag
Rest: QAD drop away rest... unless you can get a RipCord.
Sight: HHA OL-5xxx

I have not shot any of those bow, but looking at Matthews and the bows they build, I would have to go with the Drenalin. Yeah, a Hoyt guy just said that! The Matthews I have shot are smooth as silk, guessing the Drenalin is no different.

Shoot as many bows from your list as you can before you buy. Dont buy based on what people tell you to buy...do yourself a favor and see which one you like the best. Dont get caught up in hype...
My guess is that the Drenalin bow has already been registered so you wont be able to get a warranty on the bow.

Good point, me neither, in a yr you'll end up replacing all the accessories anyways..get a bare bow and build it from the ground up...

the bad part is locally not many people have a larfe selection of left handed bows in stock. one place that carries Hoyt and Martin says they haven't sold a LH bow in 3 years so it would be all special order.
the place that sells the kit I believe puts the kits together theirselves.
I am limited to what I can spend right now. (the "boss" isn't happy with $700)
in a year or so I could add a $100 sight or better rest or.... whatever. I would like to get something I can get started with and will last awhile.
when I pick up different bows they all feel similar. I haven't tried shooting any yet so I assume that's where the big difference is.

I like the ebay idea. That is where I got mine. Here is my exact bow on there only mine is a 60-70 lbs. It has a very adjustable dl. I love it.

well I finally made a purchase.....
I bought a used Bowtech Gaurdian.
I figured with what I ended up having available to spend I could get a lot more bang for my buck!
the person i'm getting it from is including a bunch of extras to get me started since I am new to the sport.....
all I need to get is a rewonably priced sight and should be good to go!
Can't wait I should have it by the end of the week....

Glad to hear you bought your bow. If your new to archery, any bow you get you'll be happy with just to start shooting. You can always upgrade as you grow in the sport. Happy shooting.

I shoot lefty too. Shoot the bows right handed at the shop. Just have them turn the poundage down. I know its not ideal, but drawing with your weak side will give you one hell of an indication of how the draw cycle is.
Glad to here you bought a bow. Have fun and start shooting.
