New Bow?
If you could buy any bow for hunting (Money is no object), what bow would you buy today and why?

I would buy another BT General B/C it is silent, thats right not just quiet,
silent, and completly shock free , short axle to axle @ 31.2" ,launches arrows at a respectable speed, and has an ultra forgiving 8.25" brace height for those hard tree stand shots! Bowtech went away from the General to the Admiral for 09 and in my opinion went backword a step but its still a great bow! The good thing about bowtech is your not paying for all the commercial time so you save a few dollars! BUT everone should shoot a bunch of bows and bow brands before making a purchase as impotant as this!

I put my money on the Hoyt Alpha Max just a couple of weeks ago. If I hadn't I would have bought the new BT Admiral 'cause it shoots alot like my General but it feels alot lighter.

I change my mind almost every other week . Most likely will end up buying a Reezen 7.0.

I am going to the pro-shop this week to buy one. I am leaning towards the Alpha max 32 or the General if I can still find one.

I just bought the new Matthews Reezen 6.5 and I am very pleased. I shot every bow the shop had and none compared to the draw, the let-off, and the feel of the Reezen. I shot through the chrono with the bow set at 71lbs, 27 inch draw, and Beaman ICS Hunter 400s with a WB a@340 f/s! Gotta luv it!

X-Force GX or the Dream Season. Best draw cycle out of all the speed bow, dead quite, pretty much no hand shock, limbs are bullet proof, and the shootability is outstanding. If you have a 28" draw or shorter go with the GX, 29" or higher go with the Dream Season

I know what I'd buy !
It would be a Hoyt 60lb camo Montega, cost just as much as those little bows ,but you get so much more! I'm shooting a Protec with the LX limbs now and a Reflex Caribou 2007 model !

? for rpford53
rpford53. How does the GX cam compare to the HF cam. What about the super short? Are they too unforgiving with the short axel to axel? I am also looking for a new hunting bow. Thanks!

I'd probably go look for an identical one to what I have and keep it for a backup; dress it about the same as well.
