Finally!!!!!

Hey guys i finally shot my first deer. It was yesterday evening. She came out around 7:50 and i waited so i could git a shot. she turned brodside at 15 yds and put her head down to eat, so i drew back and put the top pin on her then let it fly, and connected. i found her around 50 to 60 yds in the woods. I am hooked on bowhunting for life.

Theres a lot of private ranches here that you can hunt exotics and such year round. why do you think uncle ted bought so much land here?

I shot my first one 40 years ago. He looked up at me four different times before I was able to release an arrow. Talk about nervous - I thought for sure he would hear my heart pounding.
Congradulations on yours - the first one is always the hardest (kind of like looking for morels)

Guys in Texas u can hunt exotics year round, you just have to have a hunting license
