I assume that these replace the wrist sling that is seen on most bows? What is the advantage to using them?

I use them on my traditional bows, especially on the expensive ones. Before I did I got so relaxed that the bow would jump out a few feet in front of me and plop to the ground. I have not tried on a cam bow but I suppose it would work fine.
