Default Schaffer rest

I have a problem and i think i might need to get a new rest but i will ask you guys first. I have a schaffer rest (mathews) and when i am pulling the bow back it jumps of the rest due to a light arrow and my reezen has kind of a jump when it goes into let off. Anything i can do to fix this of should i get a QAD rest?

Default rest

I shoot schaffers and they are great just $$$.
What you need to do is adjust the cable a little.
I would start off by making it a little shorter so that the prongs rise quicker.
After that If your not happy lengthen it to slow it down.

That's why i shoot them as they are so easy to adjust to your needs.

It sounds like you could be having some nock pinch. Have you checked the "tighteness" of the arrow nock between each side of the D-loop? If too tight, then while drawing back, the angle of the bowstring would be increasing and could be "pinching" the nock, causing it to lift off the rest. I like to have ~1/64"-1/32" clearance between the bottom of the nock and the lower side of the loop. You could also serve each side of the nock, inside the D-loop.
