Would you change equipment if you could be on tv?

Would you use a sponsors product even if it wasnt what you personally like just to get on a tv hunting show? Just curious. I dont think I could do it. I have always used what I think is the best personally and dont think I would change for anyone.

I wouldn't down grade my quality, but if someone wanted me to use their product and it was comparable to what I was using I would have no problem with that. Also, you never know how a product is going to perform until you give it a shot. More than once I have bought a piece of equipment under the premise of "I'll give it a shot". Some of those went back to the store, some are sitting in my archery drawer, some are still on my bows.

It wouldn't be to get on TV though, 'cuz I don't really want that.

I agree. I would try another product at their expense if I believed it was a good product even if it wasnt what I usually used if I could get a free hunt or whatever as long as it wasnt junk.

I wouldnt endorse something I thought was junk no matter what.

Not just for a single appearence... unless it was an all expense paid hunt to a cool place.. Then I would use whatever they required as a condition of the payment.

But I've already been on a hunting show, and it weren't nothing special in fact it was a pain in the rear..

I would try about anything if they gave it to me with no strings attached but that is about it

Not that I would ever be asked but...Gee lemme think about this.... hell yes I would! Take me away from working in the heat all day? Under Horses all day.. Whining horse owners.. Sit in a tree and talk to a camera ? Maybe shoot a lifetime buck and get paid. Wear their clothes and get paid.... Be given all the products to use while I sit in said tree and get paid....Really !! whats to think about. Hmmmm..... Yup all over it like flies on poop.

As long as I didn't have to shoot Bowtech or Slick Tricks, I'd do just about anything.

Speaking of, I was sitting there Sunday watching that one guy, and I kept thinking, wow, he gets to hunt some GREAT places. Even I could kill some trophies where he (David Blanton) hunts.

I don't believe that I would could or would ever consider using a product, just to be on TV. There are those doing that right now Today, check the commercials on the Outdoor Channel. If you pay attention you can see right through the bull. Its discusting and shameful, Bear,Pope,Young, Hill would not be happy with some of our recent Archery celeberities. Look in the mirror do you like what you see.

All depends on how much they'd pay me and "perk" me...

As long as I didnt have to shoot grim reapers or Alpine bows I'd be just fine....

If they were paying for the hunt. Would bother me a bit. Lots of good equipment out there today.

I would not if it was equipment I thought was totally crap.

That is how I am. I wouldnt endorse anything I thought was junk no matter what they offered me. If it wasnt my brand of choice but I thought it was really good equipment I probly would if they were giving me a free hunt or whatever.

Man All my life all i have ever dreamed of is working for a company that has outdoor shows and has the sponsered hunts and spend 99.9 percent of there working life outdoors in gods most wonderfull wilderness. Im still looking for that change of a life time career change and would do whaatever it takes to be in the position of guys like Micheal Waldel (The Bomb) or the guys on Dream Season , or anything that has to do with working for a living outdoors and loving it.. Im 23 years old and my pasion for the outdoors is what drives me, if i worked for one of those corporations i would most definantly use anything they ask me to use even if it was junk i would still make the best out of it!!!!!! I probably would use a product that wasn't my favorite so long as it was a good product. I wouldn't do it just to be on tv, but if the hunt was a cool hunt I would for that.

Now, I couldn't stand up and say great things about a product that wasn't really great though.

lets see money, deer, new stuff, awsome hunting spots, camera guy gettin all the good stuff, i go to work every day and end up using materials that i think are junk but to the customers they love it (construction). so hell yeah i will get paid for hunting with your rig or mine!!! when im off the clock ill pick up my rig and do my thing until its time to go get another monster on tv.
