Default Hoyt??

Hey guys and gals,

This is my first time posting on this forum. I really enjoy reading posts on this site. I have mainly been involved in waterfowl hunting, but I always find time each deer season to get out and bow hunt.

I have the opportunity to purchase a brand new UltraMag by Hoyt. I have not had the chance to shoot this bow, but I have a chance to order one from out of state. I have held this bow and like the size and weight. I am mainly going to be using this bow for hunting, and maybe one day if I find enough time 3D shooting. My question is, if you had this same opportunity would you take it or save your $$ for a newer model like a Mathews Switchback or Hoyt Protec? I get out 3-4 weekends a year to bowhunt. I just don't know if I am going to upgrade if I should go a little bigger or a Lot bigger? Thanks for all the help and again please feel free to share all opions.
