Best spot to look for deer trails?????

Wondering where on this map you would look for spots to hunt? Thanks. The black dots are access points and the dotted brown lines are trails. You don't have to stay on the trails.

best bet is to get out and look..just because it looks good on a map, dosent mean you will see deer

id say in the lower right corne at the funnel but i would like more info like tree typs wether there is food plots or crops that sorta thing but without that i would first look at the bottle necks

It's a state owned wildlife management area. There are some low swamps and some higher dry hardwoods areas. I know I just need to get out and look. I am new to all of this and just wanted some insight.


Also, I can read topo maps but I am not sure what is meant buy funnel and bottle necks. Sorry for being a moron, I'm trying to learn.

a bottle neck or funnel is where deer are forced to go through a narrow opening to get to food watter and beddig areas. deer will usualy take the rout with the least resistace also. if the hardwoods are oke try there deer love acorns
