What's everyone shooting?
I'm new to the forums, but have been bow hunting for a few years now. I'm in the market for a new bow and just looking to see what others out there are shooting. I mainly hunt hogs and deer in my area. I've got my eye on a few different Hoyt models at the moment. Just thought i would make my first post a questions.
Thanks in advance.

A couple of older Mathews till something moves me. I'm in the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" camp. But I'm open minded and don't hesitate to try out a new model when I get a chance.

I'm shooting a Mathews DXT this season. A bow that I've shot that just blew me away was the BowTech Admiral.... VERY impressive!

I'm shooting a Mathews Reezen 6.5 for this season. I don't think I'll keep it though. I miss Binary cams and rock solid back walls. It's a nice bow though. The shop I shoot for carries Elite, so the Judge is on my mind, even though I swore off Elite because I felt duped by the GT 500's speeds when I bought one. It seems they are trying to turn things around though by listing actual speeds at each draw and their new Awesome Guarantee! I have to see what the other guys have coming out in 2010.

I shoot a Hoyt Vectrix. In my opinion, Hoyt hasn't come out with anything any better for hunting yet, other than a lighter weight model. When they do I'll wait a year or two when it's no longer in fashion to own one. Then I'll buy one for $400 or $500 like I did my "07" Vectrix at the end of last year. If your looking to spend top dollar, and you want the latest and fastest, check out the Mathews Monster or the PSE Omen; both really nice bows.

I 'm shooting a Parker, very easy to set up and adjust. Good shooting also, no problems to date with it.

I am shooting Athens
I have a pair of Athens Accomplices 34. One is target color in picture and other is black /camo. I shoot 53# at 28.5" coming off the bow at 286 FPS. They are equipped with Dead Center Archery stabilizers. They are a very smooth shooting bow.
