Check out the Vibekiller listed in the "accessaries and general hunting items" in the Archery Talk classifieds. coolhandluke9000@hotmail.com is his email. He ran a sale in Aug. for his Vibrakiller, custom fit to any rear mount model for $30, shipped. Quite a deal and lots of great reviews on AT.

I would say the string tamer would be fine honestly. If you like the looks of that one I would give it a try nothing wrong with it, and they all do the same thing. You may also want to look at the one Mathews makes the Dead end or dead stop or something like that. I always prefer to use what the company makes for there own bows who would know better than that company themselves? However if you like the looks of the string tamer better, which I think I would personally I would use it. When you go to check how your bow sets up be aware if the string supressor is touching if will give you a false read on your bow being level. Now with all of that being said doesn't the bow have string supressors on the top and bottom limb, why do you think you need one? Just out of curiousity

Okay, honestly I would say you should be fine since you have the string suppresors at the top and bottom limbs. Levi Morgan uses one but his bow does not have them at the top and bottom limbs, however Mathews did put them on the new bow they came out with but it's the only one. It may help you but if you can't try one out before you buy one I would not try it. There are alot of theories out about string suppresors such as they make the bow faster (which alot of companies say), they make the bow more forgiving by causing the arrow to leave the string faster.
Watch these videos and see what you think

The first one is someone shooting a hoyt with and without a string supresor in slow motion and the second one is someone shooting a Mathews w/o an added string surpressor.
To me it looks like the arrow does get off the string faster allowing less time to torque a bow or make a mistake but with as fast as the string is moving would that little bit of time make a differnce?
