Default Javi can you give an explanation on Brace heigth and axle to axle

Other wise what makes it more forgiving for most top guns and amatuers.

Besides string angle, the theory is that a longer bow is more resistant to rotational forces. However some of today’s shorter bows are proving to hold better than those of yesteryear because of design geometry.
As for brace height, many theories have been advanced; most of which involve in some part the time on the string for the arrow. Again besides string angle I think that brace height is relative to draw length and limb deflection with some of the modern more parallel limbed bows giving lie to the theories.

I should have added JAVI takes a back seat to no one when talking bow tuning and archery in general. He has helped many folks here and although I only recently registered (been a lurker a long time), I've gained a wealth of info from him.

Default Disscussion with Chris Hacker

I ask Chris Hacker yesturday on the way home from KC. By the way Chris won the pro class at KC Pro am.

He said he thinks often its just a natural fit. He is 28 1/2" draw and likes a
38" bow and the way the string angle hits his face.

Seems lots of times its personal choice. Ever look at my pictures and you see everyone shooting different.

Just in case you may have taken my comment the wrong way, it was a friendly jester passed on to Mike for a job well done.
