R & W 3-D Targets?
Anybody have any experince dealing with and shooting R & W TARGETS
http://www.randwtargets.com
I'm really wanting to get some 3D foam for the kids in my youth group to shoot at, but funds are tight, as always.

pm Randy D on here. I am pretty sure that is what he uses at the 3d range he works for/with.

T is right. We use them at our club along with other brands. The foam is more dense which makes arrows a little tougher to pull. But they are a very good target for the money. We will be buying more of them in the future.

Thanks for the feedback.
I'd rather have a target that is harder to pull from but lasts longer. And most of the kids are only shooting 20 to 30# so we should not be penetrating too deep.

I just got one for christmas but haven't had the opportunity to shoot it yet. I was told that dealing with the company was amazing. The target reminds me alot of the old Pre-Delta McKenzie targets in everyway (hope it lasts as long as my old McKenzie did).
Based on this alone, I would highly recomend them.

I have one for us at home. They were easy to deal with and target has held up well so far. I do agree the arrows do not come out easily though!

We shoot several of them at our club, The Cherokee Bowhunters, Neosho, Mo. and on our home range. They have outlasted the McKenzies at least two to one. They are a little harder to pull arrows, especially in cold weather. The 12 ring is small and in the center. The company is family owned and operated and the folks are very nice to deal with. The price is great, we buy several at a time and use the 10 target discount.

SandSquid Our club uses these targets and for the money they are great. We always shoot the side with the insert and these targets are lasting and standing up to around 100 shooters at each shoot.

Well thier targets may be "all that" but thier customer service is sucking right now.
I've sent emails with no response and nobody ever answers thier telephone.
I guess my Church / Youth Groups' money isn't good enough for them, or something?????
Oh well, looks like I'll have to go with Delta .

Really??
They went out of their way to get one here before christmas and when called the owner was the one that answered the phone. Might just be a family owned and operated company where the family is out of town or something.

I understand people going out of town and what not, but a company should leave a message on thier website saying such, or have an auto reply on their email stating such, or say such on thier answering machine. I was in the same boat as Squid, I ordered a product earlier this week, no response, no response, finally I called and kept calling until someone answered and I assume the business phone was rolling over to thier cellular phone because they were in Reno, NV at the archery show LOL. Just put a bit of info out thier for you customers and prospective customers and folks won't get so wound up about it.

We have had really great service from them except for the one time that the owner was in the hospital with a serious medical condition a few years back. I don't know if that could be the case now or not.

Don't know what happened but we are now in touch and working out the details of our order.
I fugure I'll start the kiddies out w/ the Ground Hog, Turkey, Racoon, and Bobcat targets.. Keep the costs down and see how they like it.

They are here!!!
Just had to take a few shot this morning.
They were realistic enough that my dumb@ss Beagle went berzerk.
The Jack Russel just sniffed and laid down next to the bobcat
