IBO has alot of up hill and downhill. ASA due to the numbers they seem to like flat ground. ASA Kentucky shoot has some hills. They often have to have up to ten ranges to run that many shooters through in two days. ASA runs a good tournament.

Thanks for taking and posting all the pics DB. I really hated to miss the Paris shoot . Seeing the mud pits you had to wade to pull arrows makes me feel a little better about missing....not much, but a little

No rain made it a good shoot. Always fun in Texas during the springtime. Cant wait for Illinois.

Thanks again for the pics Dan. One thing that always catches my eye in your pics is the number of handheld release shooters vs wrist strap index finger shooters. At my local shoots most use the wrist strap. Were you guys weaned on the handhelds or are we just gun converts here who found the index finger trigger more familiar? Perhaps it's just the class or group you shoot with? What do you think the majority use down there?

Some of us still do it the "correct" way.

Honestly alot of the older shooters shoot a wrist strap. Only a few of the young pros shoot strap releases. Thumb triggers are still the most popular. Lots of good shooters like Nathan Brooks and Eric Griggs shoot BT releases.
All work if you practice and get comfortable shooting them.
