Carter Big Kid 3D help, please?

I just picked up a nice, used, Carter Big Kid 3D release that has a hair trigger. Can anyone out there coach me on how to raise the poundage of release a little before I turn it over to my daughter to use for 3D? I mean this release wants to go off when I look at it...Thanks.

well unfortunately the BK3d didn't have the ITS system so you'd really have to send it back to Carter to have them install the spring you want... your only other option would be to open up the release yourself, but if you've never done it before It can be really tricky
