Default You make the call

ASA rules lower 12's.

Is this a 12 or a 10 score?

Also notice the target was repaired in Paris from the guy who sales the kits for $60.00. Seems to be holding up quite if any wanted to know.

I know some will argue since it is on the inside looking out it would be a 10/11 but if you take the 10/11 line out it is still touching the 12.

It is a 12 around here all day long DB

on that target because the 10 and 12 and center 11 and 12 intersect and basically share the same line in the same spot its considered at the high end of. if you want it that is. Thats what a judge told me at a national asa pro-am tournament. But since they cant make calls its decided between the group. So, your group didnt help you at all.

its touching the line.. hunting situation.. a broadhead would be cutting that, so its a 12 if i have the clipboard with the score cards in hand!

As per the standing ASA rules, it's a 12.

I am, however; a big fan of inside out scoring.

If for no other reason to shorten to debate time down range.

Don't see where it would shorten any debate time, then you would debate whether it was touching the line or not.

I am with Gator Eye on this one no matter where you make the line there will always be people having to look hard at the close ones........

Maybe less arrows in that area would be only way it would speed it up...

IMO....

Default All agree

Inside part of the line on the connector is a 12. This really can be a tough call becuase it has to be touching where the two lines touch.

You didnt need to walk that far just to stick it in the target, or with your eyes closed none the less.

There is a pic in the asa book showing the connector lines. By the way explain it and what the pic shows I know there have been some 12's taken from some shooters. It says if your arrow is touching the line and you are 90% from on the line then its a 12 (something like that). Read it for yourself. Its interesting.

Jame calls a tough arrow. No gimmes when shooting with him today.

Of course no promblem. I stayed in the five score most the day. Easy calling.

Jame kicked butt and won the pro event.

It is a definite 12. I would however be lobbying for a 23. I shoot stick and need all the help I can get.

Default Just Be 100% SURE It's Out!

I call arrows as fair as anyone, but don't give any points that aren't there. I always use the 100% rule. If you are 100% sure the arrow is out, then it's out but if you are 99% sure it's out, then it's in! The arrow in the pic is a 12!
