Vantage Elite or Carbon Matrix

For outdoor 3d, is the carbon Matrix or Vantage Elite better suited? Most of the press on the Vantage Elite acts like it is for the long range suiting. I will be shooting in the open class.

I'd give the edge to the Vantage....But who knows you may like the feel of the matrix...either way both bows will get it done in 3D...boils down to which one you feel fits you best..

Unless you are in absolute love with the Carbon Matrix, I'd save some money and get the Maxxis 35. Same basic bow but with an aluminum riser.

Better yet, check out the Contender Elite. A bit shorter and faster than the Vantage Elite with the same stiff riser.

I've shot 3d for years in MBR, and have always used my hunting setup. I am just looking to get a little more serious as I had a blast this past year shooting 3d after I got some buddies involved. I only went fishing twice this summer as I was always messing with 3d! I now have got the feeling that as much time as I'm investing I want to do it with a great 3d setup. I have always shot Mathews for hunting, but I love the looks of the Hoyts. Thanks for the help.
