help with shooting rest
i need some help guys. ive got a grizzly recurve from Bear, and the rest is a traditional bear hair rest. but my arrows are peeling up the edge as they go over it. any ideas on how i can prevent this?

What part, the shelf or side?
If shelf try raising your string nock a bit. If side, perhaps arrow stiffness (spine) is incorrect for the draw weight and your draw lenth. What Draw weight, Draw lenth, and arrow arrow specs?

oh and the weight is 60# with 31 inch wolverine arrows. The arrows are 6070 spine.

Try stripping the fletching off one and see how it shoots compared to a fletched one (both with fieldpoints) Either the arrow is too stiff, or the nock point is too low. How are you holding? Split finger or 3 under? 3 under will require an even higher nock-point than split.
