Well I'm off to South Dakota on a pheasant hunt this week. Were hunting for 4 days.

It's been years and years sense Michigan has had a huntable wild pheasant population. Looking forward to a good time.

Chase some of them birds southeast so we can have huntable numbers here as all we got are carp and whitetails !

Had a great time, I could never imagine that many birds all in one area.

Only took a couple of hours each day to limit out and had plenty of time for a few beers and a cigar at the end of the day.

I was wondering were you went, though maybe you had a hot walleye bite going on somewhere.

I was hoping to be tag out by now so I could chase some walleye yet this fall but it's been a slow season for me and I got a few tags to go yet.

Looks the temps are going to start dropping and turn the water hard real soon........ggrrrrr....I hate ice fishing!

I had to give up fishing with a pole along time ago when a twelve pack of barley pop went over $2.00 , I just couldn't afford to fish !

I'm done with deer hunting for the year as I shot a nice large buck during 2nd shotgun season . Seen alot of deer as I shot my deer as there were plenty of targets , I just picked out a nice antler critter !

Life is good , can't wait til next year as drinking all that extra very large tall bottomless glasses of promegranate juice on the rocks made all the difference !

That's my story and I'm sticking to it !

I still got one tag to go. I caught sight of nice buck a week ago or so and I'm still trying to catch up to him.

Got a few doe tags to fill but I got to do a freezer check before I shoot any more of them.

But this is a place to cut loose with another rant as yesterday as I was going to the Fareway grocery store and a late model guy in a Caddilac Esculade pulls in right next to the handicap parking and parks where everyone is to walk in , just liked he owned the whole country or something .
