outdoor 3-d shooting yet?
How many of you have already started shooting outdoor 3-d shoots this year . i started 2 weekends ago and started things off pretty good with a score of 304 on a 30 target ibo course. Then i went this past weekend and shot a 314 on a 30 target ibo course . things are still cold here in ky but it will warm up soon and i hope my scores will as well.

Them are pretty great scores, I'd be lucky to hit the 290's. Very nice shooting.

We've only got about 6" of snow right now, but our outdoor winter league started December 19th. It runs for 15 consecutive sundays ending some time in March.
I'm laying off a little this year. I'm getting older and don't find it much fun getting out of a warm bed in mid 20 degree weather. Start shooting and by the time I'm on the fourth target I can't feel the bow or my release any more. All of a sudden it's not as much fun.

If I were 30 years younger I'd be on a plane to the northwest.

We've been shooting since around Sept. Our club was newly organized and we just couldn't wait once we bought our targets. It was a little crude at first, with the majority of us learning ASA standard rules and such......but we've been having a great time and building friendships and introducing kiddos into the 3D world.

I've shot 3 so far, and yesterday was the best for me so far. (20 down). I guess that gives me the rest of the year to improve!!

Our anual Snow shoot is set for Feb 6th here in Spokane. Looking forward to it. I've got to get out to the range and sight in my pins for my target arrows. Sure be nice to have a dedicated 3d bow.
LET THE GAMES BEGIN!

I went to my first for the year this past weekend in Mid-Missouri. 36 targets 24 degrees and 8-9" of snow and it was a light snow for the first hour, it was awesome. I had just put anew sight on my bow the day before, so I didnt have as good of score as I would have liked. But no excuses, it was great time and didnt lose a single arrow. I was so ready to get away from indoors and paper targets.
