Agreed. A tournament archery magazine is a wonderful concept, but it will be extremely difficult to pull this off financially.

Its a little pricey for a mag aswell. I'll give at least 1 year to see if its worth it.

Here is my question. It says it will have articles about the latest and greatest equipment and gear. Are they really going to tell us what they think is great.....or what they are paid to tell us is great. There is already a list of sponsors and we all know what happes to "objective" articles published in magazines with sponsors.....
A couple months ago one of the magazines that I get in the shop that I got from joing the ATA had a top 20 fastest bows article. There were bows that shot 305fps in the article. Every Elite model would have been in the top 10 and none were there. They weren't a sponsor of the magazine either.
I'll probably buy a subscription just to see what it is. I'm expecting to read all about how great Mathews bows and Gold Tip arrows are, but hopefully I'll be pleasantly surprised.

I with bunny on this one. I don't know for sure, I'm not getting my hopes up. We'll see.
For the most part magazines stopped writting real reviews along time ago. It all sounds like the company whose product it is wrote it.

Now that’s funny , thinking about how much Jessie yaks on her cell, I wish she would take ¼ of that amount of time and practice – she would be untouchable
But she's still my hero !!

I'm not interested in what they use for gear per say. I will be buying it to read the different strategies and tips that they use to help them prepare for an event. There are a bunch of great shooters there and I'm sure they all practice and go about things differently.

When anyone of those guys talk. I listen. I have seeked advice from several of them over the years. They win because they know how to get there.
It will be well worth the asking price.

I agree with both of these posts. I don't think this is going to be a mag. with these writers/shooters saying they have the greatest equipment. Like I said before, they have a ton of info on set up of equipment, prep for tournaments and the mental side of archery! Its worth a year subscription to me.

Really sorry to see it go under. The first 3 issues had some good stuff. It really trailed off when they started struggling to get it printed and mailed.
