Deer aging
Hello all. I'm pretty new to deer hunting and my first season to bow hunt. I put a camera out along a trail and got some images of the attached deer. I was wondering if any one could give input on his possible age.

He's still slender, chest barely even with elbow of foreleg, small tarsal glands, his topline (back is straight in the 2nd pic and would be in the 1st if he was'nt stepping like he is) I'd guess maybe 2.5 years.

Thanks for the input. I was torn between 2.5 and 3.5 leaning more towards the 2.5. I guess i'll be letting him walk this season having a couple of older bucks on the poperty. Just didnt want some old 6pt hanging around.

Tarsal doesnt mean much at this time of the yr I wouldnt think anyways.
I honestly have to say he looks closer to 3.5. If you take the horns out of the pic then Id have to say 3.5 possible 2.5 but no older. I think hes a little to filled out in areas to be 2.5 especially being this time of year.
